The Harilaid Foundation
A Canadian foundation supporting emerging and mid-career visual artists through education, public programming, and financial assistance — with a focus on digital and edition-based media, including photography and film.
About Us
Founded by Mihkel Harilaid, the Harilaid Foundation is a Canadian foundation established to operate exclusively for charitable purposes — advancing education for Canadian visual artists, advancing the public's appreciation of digital and edition-based media art, and providing financial assistance to emerging and mid-career Canadian visual artists.
Our work centers on artists working in digital and edition-based media, including photography and film — connecting artist development with real opportunities for public engagement.
Programs
